Consortium
The consortium is composed
of a well-balanced mix of agri-food economists and supply chain
researchers. Moreover, the consortium members have far-reaching
expertise and knowledge in the areas of institutional activity
and policy development. Also, the participants are practiced in
dissemination activities and project management.
7 mutually-independent
legal entities (organisations) established in 5 EU member states
(United Kingdom, Ireland, Finland, Germany, Spain) and in one
Candidate Country (Poland) form the consortium. The split in activity
types is as follows: one higher education organisation (UNI BONN),
six research centers (SAC, AFRC, Ruralia, IAMO, IAFE and CITA).
Six of the institutions in the consortium have experience of EU
funded research and the disciplined communication, and coordinated
research and management practices necessary to make a success
of such a multi-country, multi-partner project.
